WOODLAND DETECTIVES PLANT TREES IN SCHOOL GROUNDS

BUSINESSES FLOCK TO CELEBRATE 30 YEARS OF CFH
Businesses from throughout the UK descended on Radstock last week to celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of this country’s leading independent printing firms, CFH Total Document Management. A series of open days was held throughout the week which saw over 400 guests – including customers and suppliers - take time out to visit the family run firm, now one of the UK’s most innovative document management companies.

CFH calls on its first employee to plant commemorative tree at anniversary celebrations
Eighty-two year old Bill Grubb, CFH's first employee, returned to his former place of work to plant a silver birch tree with company founder and chairman, Geoff Broadway, in a new staff garden specially created for the company's 30th anniversary. This occasion kicked off of a series of anniversary events planned throughout the year, including a week of activities in July.

CFH boosts its transactional mail capability
CFH is investing £500,000 in a state-of-the-art Pitney Bowes Olympus II Multi-tier Mailsorter, offering high-speed letter mail processing and a fast, efficient and reliable sortation platform. It will enable CFH to maximise Royal Mail discounts and pass savings onto clients. CFH currently mail between 4 and 6.5 million envelopes per month on clients' behalf. The Olympus can sort envelopes from DL to C5+ in size, up to a maximum of 132.4g in weight.

Toptree Initiative commits to further 10 years of tree-planting and extends to involve consumers
Founding partner, CFH, and the scheme's manager, the Woodland Trust, have celebrated 10 years of planting over 60,000 trees in the UK with respected meteorologist, Michael Fish, and signed-up for a further decade of tree-planting. The Toptree Initiative encourages businesses to promote their environmental credentials by using Toptree paper in their printed materials - and then plants double the number of trees as are used in print production. Now additional trees can be planted with consumer-involvement.
