DON’T BE A TORTOISE! LOG ONTO DOCMAIL’S FIRST TV CAMPAIGN

Hybrid mail provider Docmail has produced its first ever TV campaign being aired on the Sky News Channel during May.
The 30 second, animated ad is a fast-moving film which tells a modern day story of the hare and the tortoise. In Docmail’s individual take on the fable, office worker “Joe Hare” likes to have an easy life and not work as hard as the poor old tortoise. So Joe logs onto print and post service Docmail, getting his mailing out in record time, and giving him time to relax in the sun. The tortoise, meanwhile, is lost under piles of paper, envelopes and stamps, and the boss is screaming!
Dave Broadway, managing director of CFH Total Document Management, creators of Docmail, says, "Our message is that it’s time for change, and that the old way is not always the best anymore. Print and post is quickly becoming the way forward.
"This will be the first time that many viewers of Sky News have been introduced to hybrid mail. We are taking a very targeted approach to new users of print and post whether for business or in the home."
The Docmail campaign is running throughout May on the Sky News Channel, with spots including Sky News Today, Jeff Randall Live and Sunrise with Mark Longhurst.
