Case study: City Council in the Midlands
We deal with some councils directly. For one of these, we print Council tax and NDR documents including: bills, adjustments, complaints, exemptions, liabilities, reminders, summons and 14 day letters. We also print payslips and p60’s.
Previously, this council's documents had been very basic and not very pleasing on the eye. Due to CFH Docmail programmers knowledge of the Academy system they were able to manipulate the raw data to improve the look and feel of the documents, bringing them in line with other local authorities designs.
Their first annual billing has been completed and was very successful, with all documents despatched on the agreed date, and no issues raised. CFH Docmail were able to quote on providing them with the annual billing inserts, and printed the Council Tax booklets. This made things easier for the council as the production of the booklets was taking place under the same roof as the bill personalisation meaning that we could work to a ‘just in time’ system with the booklets turned around in two days and eliminating the need for costly shipping costs.
A full reconciliation was also provided which enabled them to prove in court that the bills were despatched on specific dates and could use the posting docket numbers as proof.
