Team CFH Runners Raise £2,385 for Time Is Precious

By Joe Moon, Content & Social Media Executive

Team CFH took to the streets of Bath on Sunday the 15th of March 2026 to take part in the GetPRO Bath Half Marathon, joining more than 12,000 dedicated runners for one of the UK’s most prestigious half marathon events.

The race is widely recognised as the largest charity fundraising event in the South West, with over £30 million raised for charitable causes since 2000. This year, six members of the CFH team proudly represented the company while raising money for local children’s charity Time Is Precious.

Fundraising Heroes

Representing CFH on the day were:

  • Jordan Rollason – IT Service Desk Analyst
  • Ian Connor – Logistics Manager
  • Joe Moon – Content Marketing Executive
  • Georgie Thorner – Client Account Manager
  • Louise Hale – Senior Account Manager
  • Lee Paisey – Production Manager

Together, the team raised an impressive £2,385, supporting the charity’s work to improve children’s facilities at the Royal United Hospital (RUH) in Bath and Yeovil Hospital, helping to make hospital experiences more comfortable for children and their families.

Every member of the team did an excellent job raising funds individually in support of the charity, with CFH funding each runner up to the £215 fundraising target.

Supportive Race-Day Atmosphere

Runners representing Time Is Precious were welcomed into a dedicated event area, where supporters created a fantastic race-day atmosphere. Fresh cakes, encouragement from volunteers and fellow runners, and a motivational speech from Olympic champion Jason Gardener MBE helped set the tone before the race began.

Once the race was underway, the course offered the familiar Bath Half experience, with water stations positioned along the route, crowds lining the streets and members of the wider CFH team cheering runners on as they passed key points around the city.

Personal Achievements Across the Team

Across the CFH team there were fundraising heroes, personal bests and significant personal milestones achieved on the day. For some runners it marked their first ever half marathon, while for others it was another chapter in a long history with the event.

Time Is Precious continue to make a real difference for families across the region, funding equipment, facilities and improvements that support children receiving care at local healthcare facilities.

Team CFH are incredibly proud to have supported the charity through the 2026 Bath Half, and grateful to everyone who donated, encouraged and supported the runners along the way. After such a fantastic event, the team may well be lacing their trainers up again next year!
