As we head into the second half of 2025, we’re taking a moment to look back on what’s already been a lively and rewarding year of events.
From pensions and healthcare to utilities, housing, and local government, the CFH team have travelled up and down the UK to meet clients, catch up with thought leaders, and gather plenty of fresh insights along the way.
We’ve enjoyed every conversation, every new connection, and every opportunity to share how better communications can drive real results. With a full calendar still to come, there’s no slowing down - but before we look ahead, here’s a look back at an action-packed first seven months of 2025.
Nicki Newburn and Liz Philpot kicked off our year of events in February at the AEA Conference in Birmingham, reconnecting with familiar faces and forging new relationships within the electoral administration community. The conference was full of valuable discussions as the elections landscape continues to evolve and adapt to change.
Later that month, our Business Development Managers represented CFH at both the Utility Week Customer Summit and the Customer Experience and Resident Engagement Conference, engaging with clients across the utilities and housing sectors. At both events, we provided insights into our services, including Docmail and CFH Managed, and explored how these hybrid mail solutions can help organisations improve their customer communications.
March brought a varied calendar of conferences and exhibitions. In Scotland, we exhibited at the Centre of Excellence Conference, connecting with practice managers and healthcare professionals during an incredibly worthwhile day in Ayrshire. Later in the month, our pensions specialists Chris Burridge and Jason Lusty attended the PASA Conference. They contributed to discussions on scheme governance, member communications, and how CFH’s tools can support pension stakeholders - particularly as the pensions dashboard programme grows in significance.
As spring arrived, healthcare firmly took centre stage in our schedule. We attended the Humberside LMC Practice Managers Event, the Integrated Care Delivery Forum in Birmingham, and an insightful Safecare Network session in Lincolnshire - no small feat for Serena Schofield, who represented CFH at all three! Spanning topics from primary care to integrated care delivery, each event offered valuable perspectives.
Serena and Shelley Hawkins represented CFH at the fantastic NHS ConfedExpo, one of the UK’s largest healthcare conferences, which welcomed over 5,000 attendees this year. The theme of ‘change’ ran throughout the event - particularly relevant following the announcement of the NHS 10-Year Plan, which is set to shape the future of patient engagement and service delivery across the sector.
June saw us return to the housing sector at the SFHA Annual Conference in Scotland, and reconnect with local government at the IRRV Spring Conference - a key date for the Revenues and Benefits community - attended by, Chris Burridge and Jason Lusty. We rounded off the month at the InstallerSHOW, where Nicki, Serena and Shelley spent three busy days meeting suppliers, contractors, and service providers focused on improving and modernising utilities communications.

Though they remain a popular handout at exhibitions, we have so much more to offer than just our signature saplings, as we’ve refreshed our giveaways for 2025. Alongside high-quality notebooks, pens, mugs, and plantable pencils, we’ve introduced seed bomb packs and trolley tokens - with even more new goodies proposed. If you’ve collected one of our giveaways already, we’d love to see them in use - share your photos on social media using #CFHSapling.
Whether we’ve already met this year or not, our team is always available to continue the conversation - at an event, online, or via a tailored consultation. If you’d like to know more about where we’re exhibiting or how CFH can support your organisation, we’d be happy to hear from you.
