CFH and Redmoor Health deliver patient communication webinar

By Joe Moon, Content & Social Media Executive

Thursday 23rd April saw CFH collaborate with the digital transformation team at Redmoor Health on an engaging and interactive webinar.

With conversations focused on how patient communication can be improved in general practice, CFH’s Business Development Managers, Shelley Hawkins and Serena Schofield, played a key role in the session, sharing insights with the practice managers and healthcare stakeholders in attendance.

Discussing Challenges

Organised and overseen by Clare Temple, Redmoor Health Digital & Transformation Programme Lead, the live webinar combined practical guidance with real-world use. This included a full demonstration of the Docmail hybrid mail platform and a broader discussion around the continued importance of mail. Attendees also had the opportunity to ask questions throughout, discussing the shared challenges facing practices today.

With effective communication playing a critical role in improving patient outcomes, the session explored how clear messaging, the right mix of communication and better use of patient data can provide support. The discussion also addressed digital inclusion, highlighting the need to balance digital-first approaches with accessible alternatives.

Sector Expertise

Drawing on their extensive experience working with GP practices across the UK, Business Development Managers Serena Schofield and Shelley Hawkins provided valuable, practice-led insight throughout the session. Serena delivered a clear and practical demonstration of the Docmail platform, showcasing how practices can streamline print and post processes.

Complementing this, Shelley shared broader sector insight into patient communication challenges. Together, their combined health sector expertise highlighted how informed, workflow-led communication strategies can support better patient engagement while reducing administrative pressure across GPs.

Important Contributions

A key highlight of the session was the contribution from Tracy Dell, Locum Practice Manager, who shared her firsthand experience of working with CFH and the Docmail solution across multiple GP practices. Tracy has used Docmail extensively throughout her career, including long-term use within a West Yorkshire practice, building a strong working relationship with CFH.

Reflecting on her experiences, Tracy emphasised the operational and practical benefits of the platform, particularly in reducing administrative burden and improving efficiency. She also highlighted how Docmail streamlines traditional processes, allowing practices to save significant time while maintaining high-quality patient communication.
